Barry Callebaut has strengthened its offering of healthier confectionery alternatives, in response to growing consumerdemand, with a broadened range of highly indulgent specialty fillings and coatings that are low in saturated fats (SAFA). The company has also significantly reduced the use of hydrogenated fats and eliminated almost all trans-fatty-acids (TFA) from all products. Examples of such low fat products include Tintoretto fillings for confectionery and the bakestable barquette and pancake filling range.
